In accordance with Concordia’s board policy (BD-8) which governs the evaluation process of senior academic administrators who have agreed to seek a second term, a committee has been established to evaluate the performance of Gerald Beasley during his first term as University Librarian.
Members of the university community are invited to make brief written submissions to the committee, using evaluation criteria to guide the preparation of submissions.
All comments must be signed or come from an identifiable email address.
As outlined in the policy, all comments submitted to the committee will be treated in the strictest confidence. Moreover, only the committee’s secretary and chair will be privy to the identity of the person making the submission.
While the committee may wish to discuss the content of submissions with University Librarian Beasley, submissions will not be shared with him or anyone beyond the committee and external evaluator.
The deadline to submit comments is Friday, August 31, 2012. Submissions should be sent to Andrea Renaud, secretary of the committee, at andrea.renaud@concordia.ca.
