Students host weekly market at Loyola Campus

Fresh produce part of the Concordia City Farm School training program

Looking for fresh vegetables? Check out the small garden market stand, hosted by students who are participating in Concordia’s City Farm School, an urban agriculture training program.

The market, open on Thursdays between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., will showcase the produce that students have been growing this year. The market is located in the solar house, located behind Hingston Hall on the Loyola Campus.

New items will be offered each week until the end of October. Prices for produce range from $1 to $4 and people are asked to bring their own bags.

All proceeds will go to the garden project and any leftover vegetables will be donated ot the NDG Food Depot.
