Countless fascinating stories about the Canadian past are unknown to all but a few people. A team at Concordia University, led by historian and Trudeau Fellow Ronald Rudin, is trying to bring some of those stories to light through a series of short videos, each of which would allow the viewer to follow a journey of creation leading to the installation of an object, a simple marker, on a site linked to the story.
For the purpose of producing the first video for the series, the team is looking for a lost story linked to a location within 100 km of Montreal.
To submit a story for this project, send an email or letter that includes your name and the best way to be reached by June 15 July 1, 2012, and briefly answer these questions:
- What is your lost story?
- Where did it take place?
- When did this event occur?
- Why is it important?
