The Faculty of Arts and Science is moving ahead with the implementation of Concordia’s new centralized email service. In order to assist with this transition, Instructional and Information Technology Services (IITS) is pleased to offer email migration workshops for faculty members.
Complementing other migration activities being planned between IITS and the Faculty, these workshops will be held weekly at the Arts and Science Learning Centre (H447), and bi-weekly at the Loyola Computer Lab (CC 215), from June through August.
The workshops will focus on strategies for moving to the new email service and will be oriented towards helping faculty members with an existing Alcor account. Attend a workshop and benefit from the collective experience of the migration team, gained while moving staff to the new email service. Learn what migration steps work and which to avoid.
Workshop Highlights
- Activation of new e-mail account with staff assistance
- Quick demonstration of Outlook Web App and available features
- Strategies for moving old email
- Q&A on moving existing mail
- Schedule follow-up session for additional assistance (as required)
