The St-Jacques exit from the westbound Highway 720 is closed from Monday, February 6, to September 2012 in order to create permanent access to McGill University Health Centre’s Glen Campus, as announced by Transports Québec on February 1, 2012.
The closure will affect the westbound route of the Concordia shuttle bus and may affect the schedule.
While the schedule is always subject to traffic and weather conditions, this closure may require a change in the schedule. The schedule remains unchanged until the effect can be fully evaluated.
As a result, shuttle bus users are encouraged to leave extra time for inter-campus commutes.
“We’ll make every effort to keep the buses running on time, but we won’t know the full effect of the closure until we’ve had a few days to see what happens,” explains Desmond O’Neill, director of Transportation and Distribution Services at Concordia.
