Concordia’s web requisition system FAST WebReq is credited with reducing consumption of paper related to purchase requests made at the university. The system continues to be improved and a new feature is to take effect on January 27.
When the requisition is sent for approval, he or she who approves the web requisition will also receive a PDF receipt of the transaction along with the email notification.
Financial Services reminds users that all purchase requests using the paper Requisition and Minor Purchase Orders for operating accounts are no longer accepted and will be returned. Work to include researchers in the paperless environment is progressing.
For questions about the transition and possible training, contact Susan Ross at 514-848-2424, ext. 4048 or at sros@alcor.concordia.ca.
