Bookstore now offers Google ebooks

Digital content a key component of Concordia Bookstore offerings

The Concordia Bookstore, through its association with the Canadian Campus Retail Associates Inc., is now offering Google ebooks through the Campus eBookstore platform, along with 17 other universities and colleges across Canada.

Google ebooks is an open and accessible platform that provides an easy way for students to discover, buy and read ebooks at competitive prices. The ebooks are accessible on a variety of devices, including Android and Apple tablets, as well as smart phones, computers and compatible eReaders including Kobo and Sony.

“We strive to be a complete distributor of educational material, including digital content, and this partnership allows us to offer a broad selection of titles at competitive prices,” says Daniel Houde, Director of Campus Retail Stores.

Google eBooks offers hundreds of thousands of titles ranging from new releases and bestsellers in every category to more than two million public domain books available free of charge.

Google eBooks are available from the Bookstore site.
