Employee Assistance Program offers new website and mobile app.

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Committee, along with EAP provider Shelpell-fgi, has introduced a new website in time for Mental Illness Awareness Week (October 2 to 8) called Stress and You.

Stress and You and an issue-focused site to support employees coping with stress in personal and professional lives. It offers tips and tools on how to identify, understand and manage stress in a positive way.

A mobile application (app) was also created for devices made by Apple and RIM. My EAP delivers health and wellness resources alongside EAP services.

Whether it’s managing everyday stress, handling life as a parent or making better food choices, the MyEAP app offers quality information and interactive tools from trusted professionals and experts on a wide variety of today’s most pressing issues.

Features include:

  • Health and Wellness articles;
  • LifeSpeak on Demand videos;
  • Access to E-Counselling (secure & confidential counselling support).

 
Access to MyEAP is free, fast and easy.  Simply follow the links below to download the app onto your mobile device.  Visit the app store specific to your mobile device and initiate download. Encourage family members to do the same.

Note: MyEAP is available in English and French. If the iTunes application has been configured with French settings, the new MyEAP application will open in the French language.
 
MyEAP is designed for the Apple iPhone (3G and 4G), iPod Touch, iPad and RIM’s BlackBerry Bold, Curve and Torch models. if you plan to use a BlackBerry, device software V 5.0 is required.
