January 31, 2011 at 5 p.m. is the deadline for payment of 2010/4 Winter fees for all undergraduate and graduate students

Undergraduate Students:
Payment for winter fees must be posted to your student account no later than January 31, 2011 at 5 p.m.  Otherwise, a $75 Late Payment fee and monthly interest will be charged to your student account.

Graduate Students:

Payment for winter fees must be posted to your student account no later than January 31, 2011 at 5 p.m. As you are aware, from September 2010 to August 2011, late payment and monthly interest fees will not be charged on overdue balances of 2010/2 fall, 2010/4 winter or 2011/1 summer fees.

However, students with an outstanding balance from these terms will not be permitted to register for the 2011/2 fall term and beyond. In addition, official transcripts and other official documents may not be released until all monies owing to the university have been paid in full. For further information, please refer to the Tuition and Fees website.

Methods of Payment

Undergraduate students:
Please refer to the section on undergraduate students of the Tuition and Fees website for detailed information regarding various payment methods available to students.

Graduate students:
Please refer to the section on masters students of the Tuition and Fees website or the section on graduate students for detailed information regarding various payment methods available to students.

Invoices / Statements of Account
Please note that no printed invoices or statements of account will be issued or mailed to students by the university.  Your student account is available on your student portal (My Concordia Menu → Financial).  If someone other than you will be paying these fees, (e.g. a parent or spouse), please make sure that they are fully aware of the payment deadline date and methods by which payment can be made.

All students -- please note:
In order to avoid paying for an unwanted course, students must officially withdraw from a course (or courses), graduate program, or from the university completely:

  • As outlined for undergraduate students on the student portal: My Concordia Menu → Student Administrative Affairs → UG Course Drop/Withdrawal.
  • As outlined for graduate students in the 2010-2011 Graduate Calendar (see Part 1, Section – Graduate Registration, the sections on withdrawals).

Not attending classes, not paying tuition or simply informing the instructor of your intent to withdraw does not constitute official withdrawal from the course(s), nor does it entitle a student to a refund or cancellation of fees billed.

Act early to avoid possible line-ups and wait times.
