The advisory search committee for the dean, School of Graduate Studies, is seeking nominations for one administrative and support staff member to serve on this committee, which has been established according to Policy BD-5, General Provisions for Advisory Search Committees for Senior Academic Administrators.
Carolina Willsher, associate vice-president of Human Resources, will convene the Electoral College to nominate one member from the administrative and support staff from the School of Graduate Studies or the Office of Research to participate on this committee. The incumbent is being nominated according to Electoral College Policy.

The deadline for nominations is November 30, 2012. The Electoral College convenes on Monday, December 3, 2012, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., in Room MB-14.250 of the John Molson School of Business Building (MB).
Nomination procedure
Any permanent full- or part-time member of the administrative and support staff from the School of Graduate Studies or the Office of Research may be nominated. Only these staff members may nominate an individual or endorse a nomination.
The nomination form must be signed and agreed to by the candidate, include the signature of the nominator as well as endorsement of five additional permanent full- or part-time members of the administrative and support staff from the School of Graduate Studies or Office of Research.
Candidates must submit a pen sketch, which should include information about why they are interested in serving on the advisory search committee. The pen sketch and nomination forms are available on the Human Resources web pages.
Nominations and pen sketches should be sent to Carolina Willsher, associate vice-president, Human Resources, via internal mail at S-FB 1130 or by fax to 514-848-2844 (or ext. 2844 internally) by Friday, November 30, 2012.
The Electoral College will receive the submitted pen sketches prior to the meeting. If the college requires more information from the candidates to make a decision, interviews will be held on Monday, December 3, 2012. Once the college has agreed to the nomination, the candidate’s name will be submitted to the secretary of the Board of Governors for ratification.
