The inauguration of the Faculty of Fine Arts performing spaces took place on January 19. Funded by the Knowledge Infrastructure Program (KIP), the spaces located in the MB building allow Concordia’s performing arts students to enrich the cultural life of Montreal’s downtown. Coverage appeared on Academica’s Top 10, The Suburban, Lien Multimedia, Éducation, Loisir et Sport Québec, InvestorPoint, Globe Advisor and Portail Constructo. CBC News at 6 spoke with Georges Dimitrov, a professor in the Department of Music, and with several students about the new facilities, which will be used by the Departments of Music, Theatre and Contemporary Dance.
