Concordia inaugurates two new research facilities

Prior to the official launch of Concordia's two new research facilities, the Montreal Gazette and Le Devoir featured pieces about Concordia’s PERFORM Centre.

Canadian and Quebec government representatives joined Concordia officials on November 4 to inaugurate the university’s two new research facilities — the PERFORM Centre and the Centre for Structural and Functional Genomics. The construction of these unique facilities was made possible through funding from he Knowledge Infrastructure Program (KIP). Coverage appeared on TVA Nouvelles, CTV Montreal, Academica’s Top 10, Canoe, 24Heures, Les Actualités, GenomeWeb Daily News, Yahoo Finance and the Digital Journal. CBC’s Daybreak was live from the PERFORM Centre on the morning of the innauguration. Several staff were interviewed by media including Radio-Canada Nouvelles on the Première Chaîne, RDI, CBC News Montreal, Global News and Global News Weekend. La Presse also featured the new facilities in its special supplement on university programs.
