Although sculpted males are increasingly objectified in mass media, teenaged boys would rather have an average physique than Adonis body, according to a new study by Moss E. Norman, a post-doctoral fellow at Concordia’s Simone de Beauvoir Institute and professor at the University of Manitoba.  This research garnered national and international coverage in the Toronto Star, the Montreal Gazette, the National Post,  a column in La Presse , the Vancouver Sun, the Huffington Post, Leader- Post, Métro Montréal, 24 Heures, TVA, The Ottawa Sun, The Toronto Sun, the London Free Press, The Winnipeg Sun, 24 Hours Vancouver, Calgary Herald , the Time Colonist, Slate Magazine, Science à Gogo, Times of India, Mirror (U.K.), StarPhoenix and Discovery News.
