A new study on the benefits of home schooling by Sandra Martin-Chang, a professor in the Department of Education who collaborated with colleagues from Mount Allison University, received national headlines.The research team found that children educated at home in a structured environment are on par, or even ahead, of their counterparts in the public education system when it comes to academic achievement.
