Following an evangelical prophet’s forecast that the world would end on May 21, 2011, several media sought insight to make sense of such doomsday predictions. Lorenzo DiTommaso, a professor in the Department of Religion who specializes in apocalyptic scenarios, commented to a host of international news outlets including: MSNBC, The American, The Globe and Mail, CTV News Channel (see right-hand menu), CJAD’s Ric Peterson Show, CNN, The New Scientist, International Business Times, San Francisco Sentinel, Yahoo News, Live Science and Mother Nature Network.
