
Ollivier Dyens, vice-provost, teaching and learning, appeared on Radio Canada Première Chaînewith Jean-Sébastien Bernatchez on Monday, April 1 to discuss online learning and massive open online courses (MOOCs). An op-ed written by Dyens on the same topic also appeared in the Montreal Gazette and La Presse. Dyens also appeared on Radio-Canada's program À L’Afiche with Anne-Marie Yvon to discuss the changing role of e-learning in higher-education. He also appeared on Radio-Canada programs across Canada to discuss e-learning.
Saul Carliner, the E-Learning Fellow at the Centre for Teaching and Learning Services (CTLS) and director of the Education Doctoral Program, appeared on CJAD with Aaron Rand to discuss the e.SCAPE conference. Carliner also appeared on CTV News at Noon with Paul Karwatsky to discuss online courses.
The Montreal Gazette features an article about Concordia’s e.SCAPE conference and the role of e-learning in higher education. The article quotes both Carliner and Dyens.
William Robinson, a video game designer and PhD candidate in the Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies in Society and Culture, appeared on CBC Day Break this morning with Mike Finnerty. Robinson discussed his board game, “Gets it Better,” which was featured in the Quartier Général yesterday as part of the e.SCAPE conference. Robinson will also appear on CBC Radio’s Cinq à Six on Saturday, April 6 with Jeanette Kelly.
