Three colloquia organized as part of the 24th Entretiens Jacques-Cartier
Montreal, September 28, 2011 – From October 1 through 4, experts from Europe, Canada and the United States will gather for three colloquia at Concordia University. These events are part of the 24th edition of the Entretiens of the Centre Jacques-Cartier, an annual gathering that aims to stimulate discussion about issues of an economic, political, scientific or socio-cultural relevance.
The three colloquia will tackle various topical subjects such as digital games, sustainability of information and communications technologies and the fight against cyber- crime.
About the colloquia
Experiencing Stories with/in Digital Games
October 1 and 2, 2011, D. B. Clarke Theatre - Henry F. Hall Building
Concordia University (1455 de Maisonneuve Blvd. West).
This colloquium brings together academic researchers on gaming, industry designers and students to discuss new approaches to the analysis and creation of interactive digital narratives.

École de technologie supérieure (1100 Notre-Dame West, Montreal).
Faced with current environmental challenges, this conference aims to present the latest research designed to significantly reduce the negative impacts of these technologies on our physical environment.

Concordia University (1515 Ste. Catherine Street West).
The colloquium will bring together the leading experts from academia, business, law enforcement, and representatives of international organizations to discuss the best practices that can be applied in the field of information security and cyber forensics.
