Concordia’s Media Relations department has a number of experts available to comment on several aspects relating to the summer Olympics in Beijing, taking place from August 8 – August 24, 2008.
Dave Campbell is a certified athletic therapist and osteopath. He was the head physical therapist for the 1996 Summer Olympic Games Medical Team in Atlanta. During the 2006 Winter Olympics in Torino, Italy, Campbell worked exclusively with Jennifer Heil, the Canadian gold medal-winning mogul skier. Campbell has 25 years of experience working with sports related injuries for professional and amateur athletes.

Bruno Delorme is a sports marketing professor at Concordia’s John Molson School of Business. He has worked for the the Omnium DuMaurier tennis tournament (now known as the Rogers Cup) and the Sports Marketing and Sponsorship Forum in New York.

Christopher Thomson is a professor of political science who specializes in the politics and international relations of Asian nations. The former head of Chinese economic relations for the Quebec Ministry of International Affairs and the former director of the Quebec bureau of the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada, Thomson was especially involved in the development of Quebec-China relations from 1987-2003.
