From June 13- 15, 2008 Concordia University will take part in Montreal’s 2nd Science Festival at the Quays of the Old Port of Montreal. The Eureka! Festival is an event for the general public, intended to celebrate the wealth and diversity of science-related activities in the city. Concordia will be there with exhibits from the Faculty of Arts and Science.

At the Concordia kiosk at the Science Tent in the “West Central Section” on the Quays, people can discover what figure skaters and spacecraft have in common, or what connects origami with science, nature, medicine and space satellites. You can also learn how classical mechanics, electricity and magnetism impact our everyday lives through exciting exhibits that will open the world of “Simplicity in Complexity” and provide visitors with a “hands-on” experience and a unique opportunity to interact with knowledgeable researchers.
