From March 19 through March 21, Concordia University's Peace and Conflict Resolution lecture series will host a series of events around the theme of ìIsraeli and Palestinian Historical Narrativesî. All the following events will take place in the Henry F. Hall Building (1455 de Maisonneuve West Blvd).

Opening session: Israeli and Palestinian Narratives as Obstacles to Peacemaking
Opening Lecture by Paul Scham (Middle East Institute, Washington D.C.) and Khalil Jahshan (Pepperdine University, Washington D.C.)
These two speakers with extensive experience within and between their two communities, will give lectures and lead discussions intended to provide greater understanding of the two narratives and their importance in peace-making. Several films on aspects of the conflict, likewise followed by discussions, will also be screened.
