MONTREAL/November 16, 2005—
- As part of the Salon du livre de Montrèal, Concordia University is organizing, in partnership with the ministËre de la Culture et des Communications du Quèbec a round table titled New Writers for a New Europe.
The round table will take place on Friday, November 18, at 10: 30 a.m., at Samuel Bronfman House (1590 Doctor Penfield, corner CÙte-des-Neiges). The event is open to the public.
Participating European authors include: Mercedes Abad from Spain, Gabriel Loidolt from Austria, Patrick McGuinness from Wales and Glenn Patterson from Northern Ireland.
The event will be moderated by David Homel, novelist and professor in the …tudes FranÁaises Department at Concordia University, a finalist for the 2005 Governor General's literary Awards.
