In collaboration with Cultural Affairs of the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Canada, le Salon de la culture du Festival du Monde Arabe will present two conferences at Concordia University.
The first conference will be given on October 31 by Abdulakarim Mahmoud Al Dekhayel, associate professor in the department of Political Science and director of Administration Sciences at King Saud University, who will give a conference at to Concordia University on the topic of the modernization and reform of the institutions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Inside an Arab world torn by the political crises, and having to often face institutional modernization in contradiction with the policies and the laws which govern it, some states such as Saudi Arabia take the initiative and propose programs which can make it possible for these countries to escape their stagnation.
