Le DÈpartement d'Ètudes franÁaises invites you to the launch of a new book and CD-ROM titled
Navigations technologiques, a study in transcribing written text to multimedia. The CD-ROM features seven electronic works by multimedia artists interpreting seven poems from Quebec culture. The book offers seven theoretical texts concerning the transition from the written word to multimedia.
Featuring poems by Marie Uguay, Gaston Miron, St-Denys Garneau, CÈcile Cloutier, Bernard Pozier, Alain Grandbois and Anne HÈbert, interpreted by Yannick B.GÈlinas, Richard Barbeau, Ollivier Dyens, Boris Dionne, David Jhave Johnston, Joseph LefËvre and Martine Koutnouyan, and Billy Sullivan and Jean Ranger. Also featuring theoretical texts by Edmond Couchot, Christian Vandendorpe, Richard Barbeau, Anne-Marie Boisvert, Pierre Robert, HervÈ Fischer and Ollivier Dyens.
