Frederick F. Lowy, Rector and Vice-Chancellor of Concordia University, today welcomed an investment of $925,252 in funding from the Canada Foundation For Innovation that will provide cutting-edge infrastructure support to 5 newly recruited faculty members.

"Today's announcement means Concordia University will boost its research infrastructure which will allow it to better compete as an international leader and in turn, bring benefits to the local community and the region,î said Lucienne Robillard, Member of Parliament for Westmount-Ville-Marie.

ìThe Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) is pleased to support these New Opportunities researchers, which will contribute to the development of world-
