Class cancellations/ power failures

MONTREAL/January 6, 1998—

Morning and afternoon classes at the Loyola Campus (7141 Sherbrooke St. W.) of Concordia University have been cancelled due to a power failure affecting the Notre-Dame -de-Grace area. A decision on evening classes will be announced at 4 p.m.
All classes on the downtown campus (1455 de Maisonneuve Blvd. West and surrounding area) are being held as scheduled as long as there is power in the buildings and the MÈtro is running normally. If these conditions should change, the University will advise the community.
Students may want to contact their academic departments before heading out to confirm that their professors have been able to make it to the campus.
