The new tool WebPrint enables students, faculty and staff to print on all of Concordia’s public network DPrint devices from any computer or mobile device equipped with a web browser. Users will no longer have to install and configure software to send print jobs to DPrint.

Students are the primary users of the public DPrint multi-function devices and they can now send documents to print on DPrint devices at any time, from wherever they are, even from home. The print request is automatically saved for 24 hours. Students can then go to any DPrint device, swipe their student photo ID card and, if there are sufficient funds on the card, follow the on-screen prompts to print their documents.

“WebPrint makes printing on the Concordia network much simpler,” said Michel Robitaille, Director of IT architecture, security and planning. “Users can print from computers in lab environments, from the library public computers as well as from their own devices.”

To get started, visit the WebPrint page and follow the prompts.
