In anticipation of the new Food Services Contract, which will be awarded in May 2015, Concordia’s Food Services is inviting the university community to attend an open discussion session.

The aim is to provide a platform for sharing feedback on the future of Food Services, as well as information about the food contract selection process.

The two sessions are scheduled for September 23 and October 1.

Loyola Campus: Monday, September 23, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. in Room AD-308, Administration Building, 7141 Sherbrooke St. W.

Sir George Williams Campus: Tuesday, October 1, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. in Room H-767, Henry F. Hall Building, 1455 De Maisonneuve Blvd. W.

Additionally, students, faculty and staff were sent a food-services survey by email on September 17. Topics include residence meal plans, the importance of sustainable products and services, and preferred types of food.

Start the survey now, and you could win one of four iPads.

The survey’s results will be crucial in selecting criteria for inclusion in the Food Services public tender that’s set to be issued in early 2014. Individuals are also welcome to share their thoughts by writing to Food.Services@concordia.ca.
