The Healthy living workshops are offered by Concordia’s PERFORM Centre as an opportunity to discuss current lifestyle topics and research that promotes better health through prevention.  The workshops feature a brief presentation; followed by a facilitated activity or discussion around the theme and an optional question & answer period.

Specific learning objectives for this session:

  1. To review the different health benefits of chocolate
  2. To explore your own strategy for consuming chocolate
  3. To introduce 4 healthy ways to enjoy the benefits of chocolate
  4. To develop a broader understanding of other foods that offer similar health benefits
  5. To discuss different chocolate sweets and apply the practical steps for enjoying chocolate to that example

When:  Thursday, May 1, from 6 to 6:45 p.m.
Where:  Recreation and Athletics Conference Room (Room PC-2.115), PERFORM Centre, Loyola Campus (7200 Sherbrooke St. W.)
Cost: Free for PERFORM members, $10 for non-members, payment by credit or interac. Tax not included.

Presentations offered in English by bilingual presenters. Coffee and tea provided. Come ready to savor some chocolate and fruits!
