Concordia's Design & Computation Arts program and l'École de design de l'UQAM co-present a film screening and discussion of Gravers and Files, a 1957 silent film by Carl Dair, pioneering Canadian typeface designer. Rod McDonald, the typemaker who recreated Dair's Cartier typeface for digital use, will speak about the film and Dair's designs.
