In the lead up to what is being called the largest climate march in history, the People's Climate March in New York City, come join the Students' Society of McGill University (SSMU), Concordia Student Union, 350.org, Divest Concordia and Divest McGill for our first major speaking event of the year, and the only Canadian stop on the People's Climate Tour.

As part of our campaigns to divest our universities from fossil fuels, and the larger struggle to stop the Energy East pipeline and halt dangerous climate change, join us for an evening of conversations about the growing movement for climate justice and what we can do to help.

Featuring:

Bill McKibben: author, environmentalist and founder of 350.org

Ellen Gabriel: Human rights activist from KanehsatĂ :ke who spent years fighting for Indigenous rights and is now fighting the Energy East and Line 9 tar sands pipelines.
