Information regarding CPA, CA Recruitment

As of September 2009, students interested in applying for a Junior Auditor position in a CA firm are required to apply directly with the firm they are interested in. On the list you will see how you should apply (online or via email) and if the firm is recruiting for summer and/or permanent positions. Keep in mind that many firms in the greater Montreal region will require French language skills. You can also find more firms directly on the site of the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec (Ordre des CPA). When you look at the directory please click on the box called “Training employers only”.  You should also verify with the John Molson Accounting Society (JMSA) for additional information regarding CA firms.

Career Management Services (CMS) is here to help you prepare for a successful fall CA recruitment season. Typically, many Accountancy firms will hire CA students for their permanent or summer positions a year in advance. Please follow the steps for CA recruitment described below.
