C-RISE: Career Roadmap for International Student Excellence
Are you a JMSB international student interested in working in Canada after graduation? Not sure how to build a network or find a job in Quebec? This exciting program developed by Career Management Services can help you create a roadmap for career success.
C-RISE programs include:
- Learn about Canadian employer expectations and Canadian workplace culture
- Find out how to obtain experience and transferrable skills Canadian employers are really looking for
- Build your brand: work on your resumé, LinkedIn profile and interview techniques
- Practice your networking skills and elevator pitch
Seminars for undergraduates are offered every Fall (Four Fridays in October from 10 a.m.-12:00 pm)
Seminars for graduate students (MBA, GDBA, MSc and PhD) offered in the Fall and Spring (Three Fridays in November or three Fridays in March from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.)

Students have the opportunity to meet and network with alumni who were international students at various C-RISE panels and events. Check the calendar on ConneXions !
C-RISE hosts events that give international students the opportunity to practice their networking and interview skills with local employers and business professionals.
