With the department since 1984, Dr. Ahmet Satir obtained his PhD in Management Sciences from the University of Manchester, Institute of Science and Technology (England), his MSc in Engineering Production from the University of Birmingham (England) and his BSc in Industrial Engineering at Middle East Technical University (Turkey).
He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in supply chain operations management (SCOM). His current SCOM-based research focuses on planning and control, risk management and sustainability issues. Dr. Satir is the director of the CN Centre for Studies in Sustainable Supply Chain Management.
