In a world where people are becoming more aware of the impact their actions have and where extra-financial factors are increasingly posing material risks to investors, investment methods are rapidly changing. Environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria are being used by investors who are pursuing a sustainable investment strategy. As investors shift their focus towards investments that minimize ESG risks and/or maximize ESG opportunities, it has become increasingly important to stay up to date on these criteria as they change and evolve over time.
