Congratulations to the MBA students from the John Molson School of Business who passed the CFA Level I exam in June. 91% of the students from JMSB’s MBA with Complete CFA Integration program offered by Concordia’s Goodman Institute of Investment Management were successful in their first attempt. The worldwide pass rate for the 100,000 candidates who wrote the Level I exam was 42%.

To earn the CFA charter, candidates need to pass a series of three exams. These exams — Level I, Level II and Level III — must be passed sequentially as one of the requirements for earning the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) designation which is generally recognized as the highest level of competence in investment knowledge, professional ethics and corporate standards.

“I am pleased that our students were able to post such strong results,” says Ian Rakita, director of the program. “It confirms that our approach is paying dividends.”
