Campus Resources

  • Applied Psychology Centre - A psychology clinic available to the Concordia community: students, faculty and staff, and to the general public. The Centre is part of the Department of Psychology, as it is the training clinic for clinical psychology graduate students. Services are available throughout the academic year, from September to April. For more information, please contact the Centre at (514) 848-2424, ext. 7550.
  • Art galleries - Concordia's three art galleries present professional and student-run exhibitions, provide research space and house important permanent collections.
  • Art Supply Store - carries art materials covering a wide range of programs, including painting and drawing, print media, fibres, ceramics, photo and cinema.
  • Bookstore - The Concordia University Bookstore carries new and used textbooks, stationery and office supplies, Concordia clothing and sportswear and much more! Buy on-line or buy in person!
  • Campus venues - An overview of cultural, performing and recreational facilities on campus.
  • Centre for Native Education - Houses a documentation centre with books on Native history and culture.
  • Child Care Centres - Child care services are offered for children of students, faculty, and staff.
  • CJLO - Concordia's one and only radio station. CJLO is 100% non-profit, and is run entirely by volunteers.
  • Computer store - Owned and operated by Concordia University, the store provides high quality products and very affordable educational pricing.
  • Co-op Bookstore - Provides students, faculty members and other members of the community with a professional service and low prices through a non-profit co-op bookstore that is directly controlled by its user, worker and support members.
  • Digital Store - With storefronts on both campuses, the Digital Store provide you with the latest printing technologies to meet your needs.
  • Emergency Management - The Office of Emergency Management is responsible for maintaining Concordia University's emergency management plan.
  • Employee Assistance Program - A voluntary, confidential counselling and information service available to all employees eligible for Health Benefits at Concordia, including their immediate family (spouse and dependent children as defined in your plan).
  • Environmental Health & Safety - Supports and evaluates the development and maintenance of a safe and healthy work environment in such areas as industrial hygiene, public safety, hazardous materials, injuries, emergency management and sustainability.
  • Health Services - Offers students personalized, confidential health care. Staff includes nurses, doctors, psychiatrists, mental health professionals and a health educator. Services are confidential and health professionals are available with, or without, an appointment.
  • Information Technology Services (Computing Services) - The IITS Department supports academic research, administrative, social and cultural activities in the Concordia community. It also maintains language learning laboratories as well as multi-media labs. IITS is responsible for the student/faculty portal, MyConcordia and the campus wireless network.
  • Legal Information Services - Offers free, confidential information and assistance to all students. They can help you with rental problems, small claims court, or consumer problems.
  • Multi-faith Chaplaincy - exists within the academic community to nurture faith, spirituality and social responsibility, and to provide a pastoral presence, especially for students.
  • Parking - Parking, including disabled parking, may be found at both campuses.
  • Q2 Ally Network - A group working towards embracing and celebrating sexual diversity.
  • Recreation & Athletics - Recreation and Athletics offers a complete and diversified program to provide the opportunity for all students to participate in intercollegiate athletics and recreational programs.
  • Shuttle Bus - Offers a prompt and reliable service between the two campuses throughout the year, taking approximately 20 minutes. The ride is free with a valid university ID card. View the Shuttle Bus schedule.
  • Sustainable Concordia Project - A student-driven initiative supported by university-wide participation, with the objective of making Concordia more ecologically, socially and economically sustainable.
  • Volunteering - The Volunteering website aims to promote and facilitate volunteerism among the Concordia student body, staff and faculty.

Resources for new faculty and staff

Staff I.D. cards are issued by Human Resources to all permanent full-time, permanent part-time and employees hired for a period of twelve (12) months or more as well as to visiting scholars, part-time, full-time and adjunct faculty, and retired staff and faculty. Email accounts are obtained via the MyConcordia portal (select "Personal Services" then "Computer Accounts & Passwords").
