CV Writing and Successful Interviews (2-hr workshop)
Purpose: This workshop provides participants with guidelines on drafting their CV and cover letter for Concordia University and a good understanding of what managers are looking for in candidates during an interview.

Stress Management: A Practical Guide (2-hr workshop)
In this workshop participants will learn how stress affects the body and identify the causes and signs of stress. A variety of effective stress management strategies will be outlined that include relaxation techniques, problem-solving strategies and cognitive strategies. The workshop will also include recommendations for healthy living that can make a person less vulnerable to stress or make stress less intense when it does appear. Activities will help participants identify sources of their stress and several strategies they can implement to effectively manage it.

Service Focus: Ability to understand clients' needs and ensure satisfaction (2-day course)
For front line employees
This training is predicated on a relationship-based approach to customer service which aims at understanding customers’ needs, and ensuring satisfaction. This includes understanding the key factors inherent in maintaining customer satisfaction and mastering specific skills to be effective. Implicit in an effective customer service interaction are mutually favourable outcomes, an increase in overall satisfaction and heightened customer loyalty. This approach is applicable to both "internal" and "external" clients.

A good minute-taker needs to listen carefully to discussions, extract relevant points and present that information in a clear, concise and useful format. This is particularly challenging when a discussion is heated and issues are highly contentious. Learn to:
- Listen to discussions objectively
- Focus on the line of discussion even when debate becomes heated
- Extract relevant information from discussions
- Use concise language to summarize the discussion and decisions of the meeting
- Present minutes in a useful format
