When coverage ends
Basic Life Insurance Plan
Coverage ends on the date your employment terminates.
Coverage under this policy number 14710-G also ends on your normal retirement date (if you are still actively at work) or on your actual retirement date, if earlier, and continues under policy number 50439-G as summarized in the Life Events section.
Optional Life Insurance Plan
Coverage ends on the earliest of:
- the date your employment terminates;
- the date you begin to receive your pension;
- June 1 coinciding with or following your normal retirement date; and
- the date you stop paying the required premiums.
Optional Dependent Life Insurance Plan
Coverage for your spouse ends on the earliest of:
- the date your employment terminates;
- the date you begin to receive your pension;
- June 1 coinciding with or following your normal retirement date; and
- the date you stop paying the required premiums.
Coverage for your children ends on the earliest of:
- the date your employment terminates;
- the date you begin to receive your pension;
- June 1 coinciding with or following your normal retirement date;
- the date you stop paying the required premiums.
- the date your children no longer qualify as dependent children.
