Disability Plans
Becoming disabled can be one of the greatest financial risks you and your family may have to face during your working career with Concordia University.
The Disability Plans provide you with sound financial protection if personal illness or injury prevents you from working and earning your regular income.
For non-work related illness or injury
The program varies according to your eligible employee group, as follows:

| Full-time, permanent employee | Paid Sick Leave Plan and Long-Term Disability Plan |
| Employees who are members of CUPEU, CULEU, CUPFA, CUSSU or CUCEPTFU | Paid Sick Leave Plan and Short-Term Disability Plan |
For work related injuries or incidents
All work related injuries or incidents must be reported to your immediate supervisor and you must complete an injury or incident form and submit the completed form to Environmental Health and Safety.
When your work related injury requires you to seek medical help the resulting CSST medical certificates are to be submitted to the attention of Cornelia Kupfer, Disability Management Advisor.
