Girls Summer Engineering and Technology
Online Program

Studying engineering and technology encourages creativity, innovation and leadership to make a difference in society.

This two-week program provides engineering experience for girls aged 14 to 17. With design challenges and informative activities, GirlSET aims to encourage young women to pursue engineering and computer science as careers.

About the program

The program is divided into Zoom sessions that may last up to 3 hours with a new topic each session, giving students a thorough glimpse of engineering as a discipline.

Participants will be mentored by the most innovative engineering students and faculty members of the Gina Cody School of Engineering and Computer Science.

In addition to building critical problem-solving, analytical thinking and innovative design skills, students will learn about computer game creation, building engineering, artificial intelligence and software engineering, among many other topics.
