New students advising and registration instructions

Newly admitted students for Fall 2019-20

Congratulations on your acceptance to the Faculty of Fine Arts at Concordia University!

Now that you have been officially accepted, here are the next steps that should be followed.

Step 1 - Accept your offer of admission

Admission to Fine Arts programs is highly competitive.  You must be sure to officially accept your offer of admission and pay the confirmation deposit by the date indicated in your letter of admission.

To accept your offer of admission
  1. Log into your MyConcordia Portal
  2. Click on My Student Centre
  3. Go to the Admissions menu and click on accept my offer of admission
  4. Go to the Make a Payment function and pay the Admissions Confirmation Deposit.

Once you have paid the deposit, the computer system will run a batch process within the next 24 hours at which time you will be ready to enroll.

Step 2 - Register for courses

Registration for new students begins April 18

  • Students admitted prior to this date must wait for that date to begin registering for courses.
  • Students admitted after this date may begin registering for courses immediately.

Given the high demand for fine arts courses, we recommend you begin enrolling for courses as soon as possible.  The registration cycle continues until September so changes to your course registration can be made up until the end of the course change period in early September.

To register for courses
