Concordia is hiring a new dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, and the university needs your input on the position profile that will be used to brief candidates. The deadline for feedback is January 19, 2015.

“I would like to thank everyone who responded to our November 2014 survey and who will provide input on the position profile,” says Benoit-Antoine Bacon, provost and vice-president of Academic Affairs, who chairs the search committee. "Consultation with the community is an integral part of the search."

The search committee will then use the revised profile to recruit the best person for the position.

"We need a leader who will understand the aspirations of our community," says Bacon. "Concordia is a unique place and we need the perfect fit."

Review the position profile for the new dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and send your comments to Andrea Renaud (andrea.renaud@concordia.ca) by January 19.
