Concordians nab META awards for Best Direction and Best Sound Design

Mike Payette (BFA Theatre and Development, 2007) was recognized for Best Direction at the Montreal English Theatre Awards gala on October 26. Payette directed Hosanna, by Michel Tremblay, produced by Table d'Hote. The production also garnered awards for Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Independent Production.

Pietro Cerone is the Technical Coordinator Multimedia for the Departments of Theatre, Music, and Dance, as well as Concordia's performance venues. He took home the META for Best Sound Design for Random, written by debbie tucker green, and co-produced by Imago Theatre and Black Theatre Workshop.
