Conversations in Contemporary Art presents Yassin “Narcy” Alsalman, aka The Narcicyst
We are proud to bring artist and musician Yassin “Narcy” Alsalman, aka The Narcicyst, to the stage for the 3rd talk in the Conversations in Contemporary Art 2015-2016 fall season.
Yassin 'Narcy' Alsalman is a musician, actor and multi-media artist. He recently set up his transmedia storytelling collective We Are The Medium in Montreal, Canada. The goal of WATM is to facilitate international collaborations amongst thinkers, artists, and brandeurs worldwide. Narcy is currently touring his Narcinerama visual show alongside his recently released World War Free Now! sophomore release. Yassin is currently teaching Hip-Hop: Past, Present and Future at Concordia University. With music as his message, WATM is the umbrella that encompasses all his creative collective of friends, as an international body of 'independents', New World Citizens. Neo Arab Rebel Called Yassin.
Admission for all Conversations in Contemporary Art events is FREE and open to the general public. Seating is first come, first serve. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
The lectures are held in English.

Musicien, acteur et artiste multimédia, Yassin « Narcy » Alsalman a récemment fondé We Are The Medium (WATM), collectif de récits transmédias établi à Montréal, au Canada. L’objectif de WATM est de faciliter les collaborations internationales entre penseurs, artistes et créateurs de marques du monde entier. Narcy présente actuellement en tournée son spectacle visuel Narcinerama et vient de sortir son deuxième album, World War Free Now! À l’Université Concordia, il donne le cours Hip Hop: Past, Present and Future. Recourant à la musique comme messagère, il réunit sous WATM tous ses collectifs d’amis créatifs en tant que corps international d’« indépendants », citoyens du Nouveau Monde. Un néo-rebelle arabe appelé Yassin.
Tous les événements du programme Conversation in Contemporary Art sont gratuits et ouverts au public. Les sièges sont assignés selon le principe du premier arrivé, premier servi. Les portes ouvrent à 17h30.
