A creative arts therapies approach using all the arts

A one day intermediate level training taught by Yehudit Silverman

This training day is offered to those interested in going deeper and learning more about how to use the Story Within approach in clinical, community, or personal work. Through discussion and creative experiential exercises we will go through the steps of the process in depth and work on the aspects of containment, witnessing, and projection. We will also explore what it means to attend to the unconscious as it emerges through the creative process without interference or interpretation. What is the essence of “knowing” when to step in and when to step back, how to be comfortable ourselves with “not knowing” and to how assist and guide the negotiation of distance so that the client can work with difficult material. There will be time for specific questions related to participants’ interests and work.
