Music research covers a lot of territory, ranging from composition and performance to historical and musicological work, to perception, cognition and psychology of music, to interdisciplinary and societal considerations, and more. Every year Department of Music hosts a series of public talks about this fascinating field.

Concordia music professors and invited guests offer an assortment of topics and methodologies to their audiences. Talks are followed by Q&A and social time with the speaker.

All lectures take place in room 8.255 of the John Molson School of Business Building (1450 Guy St.) on Concordia's Sir George Williams campus, from 5 to 7 p.m.  All events are free of charge and open to the public.
