The Healthy living workshops are offered by Concordia’s PERFORM Centre as an opportunity to discuss current lifestyle topics and research that promotes better health through prevention. The workshops feature a brief presentation; followed by a facilitated activity or discussion around the theme and an optional question & answer period.
Specific learning objectives for this session:
To review the different health benefits of chocolate
To explore your own strategy for consuming chocolate
To introduce 4 healthy ways to enjoy the benefits of chocolate
To develop a broader understanding of other foods that offer similar health benefits
To discuss different chocolate sweets and apply the practical steps for enjoying chocolate to that example
