Join ISO for one of the most traditional Quebecois activities to do in winter: the sugar shack trip (Cabane a sucre, in French)! Sugar shacks are humble establishments located deep in the woods where the iconic Canadian maple syrup is produced. Quebecois families often go there in March to have generous meal of maple-covered food and to have a great together!
The sugar shack we are going to is called à la Feuille d'Érable (at Mont-Saint-Grégoire), and it's one of the most cozy and traditional sugar shacks around! Menu includes eggs, pork meat (ham, sausages, etc.), vegetarian options and fish! The non-pork option will be served a different table.
