In this workshop you will learn the latest recommendations for healthy weight, and assess whether or not your weight is putting you at increased risk for health problems. We will outline the research on the most effective approaches to achieving a healthy weight. And because our environments and circumstances powerfully impact our weight and related behaviours, we will look at these and how to influence them.

Learning Objectives

In this workshop you will learn:

1- The benefits of healthy weight
2- To identify the causes of overweight
3- To outline evidence-based approaches to achieving and maintaining a healthy weight.

This workshop is being offered through Grad Pro Skills, but as there is space remaining, Concordia students and staff are invited to join us; we will all learn together!
