This event is intended for Concordia faculty who use iclickers in their teaching or are interested in learning more about the technology. The iclicker technology is a student response system supported here at Concordia University that allows students to interact with lectures and other activities by responding in real-time to questions presented in class. It's ideal for supporting peer-to-peer instruction and knowing more about your students thinking and understanding. It's also a great tool for keeping them engaged in class.
The good news is that beginning in September 2017 Concordia will be rolling out a new service that allows students to choose between using an iclicker student remote or their own mobile device such as a smart phone or tablet. Even the management of graded responses has been made easier because the new REEF enabled iclicker gradebook system which integrates seamlessly with Moodle.
If you want to learn more about any of these new features then you won't want to miss our information session on May 10, 2017. IITS and the Centre for Teaching and Learning have planned a full morning filled with all the information you need to get started.
This event is free but spaces are limited so please don't forget to register online so we can save you a seat.
